I am currently reading a book about Ethics and what it takes to make something ethical and how what we think ethics is from what it actually is. I really like how the author also explained the different views on ethics from different cultural standpoints. For instance the author shows how ethics are seen with the story of Abraham being told to sacrifice his son. This contradicts the idea that god is love.
The author makes it clear and easy to read but still manages to go into great detail. I'm personally not very familiar with this author but I can appreciate the use of the examples. If you have any interest in ethics I would most definitely recommending reading this book. It will take time but it allows you to start seeing things through a whole new set of eyes.
I find ethics really intriguing, and would be interested in the book you mentioned. Ethics can be very confusing seeing as we all have our own moral code. For instance, some of us wouldn't have shot an innocent gorilla.
