Symbolic Story

Everyone was lost in the building after something tripped the power. It seemed odd that for a place that often had regular blackouts that only one person had any sort of light. This blackout seemed off time in relation to the others. When trying to leave everyone came to the quick realization that the doors were locked from the outside. Immediately everyone looked to the man with the flashlight and the woman with the key to the cafeteria. Immediately people started looking up to them till they realized that they could be in that position if they could just get the light or the key. So people started to write letters and leaving them at the door acting as if the outside was trying to help them. Eventually the letters from the outside gained the people who wanted power in a higher position than those with tangible power.
The key and flashlight was meant to symbolize respected power that people couldn't really misplace. However when people started making false letters they put themselves in a place of higher power. The letters symbolize the power that could be gained from greed.

How To

How to write a blog as a freshman in high school for Dr. D. First you need to get your platform of where you would like this blog to be. Most likely your teacher will have given this to you because chances are they will need to check your work. For you to get a grade that will make you and your parents smile you will need to write in complete sentences and use proper grammar. Would strongly recommend making it at least two paragraphs and submitting them on time.
Now for the actual writing parts of the blog. Sometimes blog entries will come to you in a flash other times you will have to sit down and work on an idea for a little while. Free posts are your friend just find an idea or thing that you like and write about it. Even if you get to your required amount of writing finish your entire thought. As a teacher seeing a student go that extra distance is very nice. If you follow all of these steps you should do pretty good.

Critical Scene

A extremely important scene in Lord Of The Flies is the scene where Simon come crawling out in the dark and the boys kill him thinking that he is the beast. I think that this is a very important scene in the book because Simon was the only one that really knew that they were the beasts and that the thing on the hill was a human. Also that once they kill Simon everyone is extremely shook up and doesn't know what they should do know. Simon being the only one to really understand everything that was going on when he dies leaves both groups at a huge loss as well.
When they kill Simon the boys were all doing their dance that they do when they killed a pig and then it just so happens that this later on becomes the dance that they do right after they killed piggy. This dance always raised an alarming kinda of feeling when these young boys start dancing around and chanting "Kill the pig, Cut it's throat." This really shows the level of insanity that then brought the boys to killing their only real deep thinker.

Thanksgiving

Everything Thanksgiving my family comes in from all over to eat thanksgiving dinner together then everyone just goes back to where they came from. Some might travel from Texas some from Mississippi and they will all come in for about 3 days then leave. However depending on who is there this could be the time of your life or this could be a living nightmare. Certain sides of my family like different parts of the meal and if that part of the meal isn't made you'll be hearing about it for a while. For example my cousins that come in from Dallas always want some spin off of a Oyster dressing I used to eat it all the time and now I hate it with a passion.
I feel like this event is more of a time to more or less just catch up and watch what happens more than what it is actually meant to be for. I can almost predict what will happen everything thanksgiving. Everyone will take pictures and then we will eat and nobody will really say anything until one side of the family finds something that they don't like about the meal. Then everything spirals out of control until about 12 o'clock when they both give up on it and leave.
